The aerial hoops used in our Cannock aerial classes are securely fixed into the main ceiling beams, which serve as the primary structural elements supporting the building's ceiling. The aerial hoops used in our Cannock aerial classes are securely fixed into the main ceiling beams, which serve as the primary structural elements supporting the building's ceiling. These beams were specifically chosen for their load-bearing capacity, as confirmed by the installing engineer. The mounts for the aerial hoops were drilled, rated, and secured using appropriate fixings designed to distribute the load across the beam while minimizing structural impact. Following the installation, a health and safety inspection was conducted in 2024 by local Environmental Health officers, who approved the setup for use in lyra hoop classes within a dance studio setting.

This setup is used under strict procedural controls and instructor supervision, particularly in our Cannock aerial classes where participants can practice on the aerial hoop and lyra hoop. We continue to follow best practices by limiting weight and use to appropriate participants, maintaining visual and physical inspections, and training instructors to identify red flags early.
