Non-Negotiables for Competition Team Members and Showcases

To maintain the high standard of our Competition Teams - and to protect the hard work, reputation, and wellbeing of all dancers - the following requirements are non-negotiable.

All competition members must be enrolled in at least one Foundations class (Acrobatics or Lyrical, or both).

As expected, dancers who train more consistently and across multiple disciplines develop skills and confidence more rapidly.

Competition and event fees are strictly non-refundable.

This is due to:

• Admin time and costs that we incur as soon as entries are processed
• External organisers having their own no-refund policies, which we must abide by
   

To avoid confusion: we hold no liability for cancellations or withdrawal of your child’s place once you have confirmed participation.

Dancers must be available for the full three weeks leading up to any competition.

Our school’s reputation is built on commitment, consistency and high-quality performances.
If your dancer cannot attend rehearsals in this critical period, they cannot be considered for competition entries. This could result in your child being removed and no refund issued.

We understand this model isn’t for everyone - there are many non-competitive and showcase-focused schools locally. We are not one of them.

Parents are responsible for providing the correct footwear for their child.

We also reserve the right to charge for replacement costume hire in cases of:

• Damage
• Loss
• Hygiene issues
   

We genuinely do not encourage anyone to join the competition team lightly - it is expensive, weekends are often written off, and competition days are long.
